What this role involves
Robotics Simulation Engineer

By artefacts In jobs

Artefacts is building a set of software tools for robotics software developers, facilitating Continuous Simulation in their workflow and tight integration with CI. We hope to help them take on the challenge of creating an advanced robotized world that will enable a more efficient and environmentally friendly society. We also believe that emerging AI techniques will dramatically change the way robotics software is built.

  • We are enthusiastic and interested in our own specialties!
  • Ready to join a startup.
  • It can be messy, and requires personal commitment.
  • We expect you to work with us, not for us. We would like to see what you have done already.
  • Any publicly visible work such as open source contributions, personal blogs, Medium contributions, published paper etc.
  • Any publicly visible accounts such as Github, StackExchange etc.
  • Presentations at meetups / conferences?
  • Work / Projects you are particularly proud of

  • Experience with “real world” robot applications.
  • A real passion for Simulation Software or building Interactive Environments.
  • Graduate degree in related disciplines.
  • Degree is not necessary to apply, but if a work-visa is required, can make the visa-application process difficult without extensive, related work experience
  • The role would benefit from advanced analytical skills.

Application stages: Getting to know each other

We hope applying to work with us is a great experience. We value your time and your interest! We think the best way to decide working together is first to know more of each other, starting with us sharing our online profiles.

We propose meeting a number of times, primarily online, and freely talk about you, about us, and about what we could achieve together.

As much as we would like to meet every applicant, we expect first reading about your motivation for applying, and seeing your past achievements. This should give us a chance to reply early whether we should meet for the occasion. We promise to reply to each serious application.

In Short, Here Is a Typical Application Flow

  • You apply, sending us a resume and a cover letter. Again, we value very much seeing your public contributions.
  • We invite you for a first online meeting, or explain why we may not meet this time.
  • We may organize other meetings, for you and us to know better, sometimes on site.
  • We expect to make decisions relatively rapidly.
  • We may ask for references.

To apply, send an email at jobs at this domain.

Conditions and Team Membership

How We Work Together Is In Flux, As The Team And Company Grow. We Aim At Adapting Working Conditions As We All See Fit. Currently

  • We encourage asking “why”.
  • Inclusive.
  • Personal growth-oriented environment.
  • Honest salaries.
  • No bonus culture.
  • Modern offices within 5 min walking distance from Shinjuku station (the building is a few years old).
  • Some prefer remote work, some office work, some change every day.
  • We gather at the office when needed.
  • We breathe open source, when it makes sense.
  • Medical checkup support in Tokyo.
  • We love challenges and opportunities that make us evolve.
  • Full or part time as you prefer. We usually start with a three-month contract to start working together.
  • Remote-first team. Preference for candidates in the JST timezone or so, and candidates in Japan (hardware!)

We hope these items paint a constructive image of our work style. All these items depend on the team, and your presence will influence them, as a partner.

Engineer Data Platform Engineer at Supermetrics

Builds and maintains internal data platforms, pipelines, and infrastructure using Python, Kubernetes, and Airflow while incorporating AI-assisted development tools.

Mid Posted 1 day ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Supermetrics helps over 200,000 organisations make sense of their marketing data, and we process a significant share of global online ad spend along the way. Fast, reliable infrastructure isn’t optional for us, it’s what lets our customers trust their data, and what makes every other team’s work possible.

As a Data Platform Engineer, you’ll help build, run, and improve the internal data platform that powers ingestion, transformation, and delivery across the business. Reporting to our Data Platform Lead, this is a role with real ownership of the pipelines, tooling, and systems every team at Supermetrics depends on, and AI is part of how we build, not a side experiment.

In this role you will own…

  • Core data platform components and services, working closely with Analytics and Data Governance.
  • Our event tracking infrastructure, built on Snowplow/OpenSnowcat, custom data loaders, and tooling like Avo.
  • Data integrations using Datastream, custom pipelines, and Airflow.
  • MCP servers that let AI agents query our governed data layer, making data self-serve for every employee.
  • Deployment workflows across Kubernetes, ArgoCD, and GitOps.

Day-to-day, you’ll be…

  • Building with Python, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code, using AI-assisted development for pipeline scaffolding, test generation, and DAG authoring.
  • Contributing to analytics and governance tooling, including dbt, Looker, OpenMetadata, and data contracts.
  • Supporting cloud cost attribution, IAM governance via Terraform, and disaster recovery processes.
  • Building automations using AI and agent technologies that make a real, measurable difference.
  • Collaborating with dev teams on data collection and integration best practices.
  • Participating in technical discussions that shape where our data platform architecture goes next.

This position is for you if you have…

  • 3+ years of experience in platform engineering, data engineering, or infrastructure-focused software development.
  • Background in cloud platforms, especially GCP.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL.
  • Experience developing, deploying, and managing data platforms and pipelines on Kubernetes.
  • Experience with orchestration tools, specifically Airflow.
  • Experience with CI/CD principles and tools.
  • A genuine ownership mindset, treating the platform as a product for internal customers, not just a codebase to maintain.
  • AI tools embedded in your core work, not something you dabble in occasionally.

What we offer…

  • Real ownership of infrastructure that every team at Supermetrics relies on.
  • A hybrid setup across Helsinki, Dublin, or Amsterdam.
  • Attractive pay and benefits, along with standard boilerplate.
  • A collaborative, technically curious team that builds AI into its workflows rather than bolting it on.

Engineer Marketing Web Developer at Ejam Inc

Web developer builds conversion-focused landing pages, Shopify sections, and A/B test variants while implementing tracking and maintaining component libraries.

Mid Remote Posted 1 day ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Location: Remote Latin America

Compensation: $2,000–$3,000/month

Type: Contractor

Hours: 9am - 6pm PST

About Us

eJam is a bootstrapped consumer products company that has built, scaled, and exited multiple brands — all without ever taking a dollar of outside capital. Our portfolio includes category leaders ranked at the top of Amazon, carried in major retailers nationwide, and sold across DTC, marketplaces, and every channel in between.

We’re not a startup hoping something works. We’re a team that has done it repeatedly — taken products from zero to eight figures, landed them on retail shelves nationwide, and built real brands that consumers love. We operate like a holding company with the speed of a startup: small team, no bureaucracy, massive ownership.

This is the place where you’ll see the entire machine — sourcing, product development, packaging, manufacturing, compliance, marketing, marketplace strategy, retail — all under one roof. If you want to learn how consumer products actually get built and shipped at scale, there is no faster education than this.

The Role

We’re looking for a Marketing Web Developer in Latin America to work directly with our marketing and CRO team in Santa Ana, California. You’ll build the landing pages, Shopify sections, and A/B test variants that our marketing team runs paid traffic into — and you’ll learn, page by page, why one version converts and another does not.

This isn’t a role where you get handed tickets and left alone. You’ll join our standups, see the performance data on everything you build, and get direct feedback from the marketing team on everything you ship. If you want ownership and a growth path, this was made for you.

What You’ll Do Everyday

  • Landing page & test variant builds. Responsive, conversion-focused pages from Figma files and scoped briefs — plus the A/B variants that test them.
  • Shopify theme work. Liquid template edits, custom sections, product page and checkout enhancements across three brands.
  • Tracking implementation & QA. Adding and verifying GA4 events, GTM tags, and Meta/TikTok pixels — then proving they fire exactly once, at the right moment.
  • Component library maintenance. Extending the shared section library and keeping the build documentation current.
  • AI-assisted development. Using Claude Code, Cursor, v0, or similar to work faster — with the understanding to explain every line you ship.
  • Daily async communication. Written standups, early blocker escalation, and clear documentation across a time-zone boundary.

You’re a Fit If

  • 2–3 years of hands-on web development, with a portfolio of responsive pages you personally built.
  • Solid HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals — you build by hand, not only with drag-and-drop tools.
  • Shopify or Liquid exposure. Depth is a plus.
  • Understanding of tracking — what a pixel is, what an event is, why it matters.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Practical use of AI coding tools, and the ability to explain what the code you ship actually does.
  • Bonus: Webflow, Google Tag Manager, or any conversion-focused eCommerce work.
  • Ability to work 9am–6pm PST, with reliable internet and workspace.
  • A proactive, ownership-driven mindset — you ask why a page converted, not just what to build next.

What We Offer

  • Paid time off & observed local holidays
  • Fully remote — work from anywhere in LATAM
  • Direct collaboration with the marketing and CRO team on real conversion work
  • Real production work — you’ll see the conversion data on everything you build
  • Fast-track growth in a small, high-velocity team

Engineer Forward Deployed Engineer at Beacon Biosignals

Forward Deployed Engineer works with external partners to integrate with Beacon's EEG data platform, building PoCs, dashboards, and tooling while collaborating with internal teams to solve customer technical needs.

Mid Remote Posted 2 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Beacon Biosignals is on a mission to revolutionize precision medicine for the brain. We are the leading at-home EEG platform supporting clinical development of novel therapeutics for neurological, psychiatric, and sleep disorders. Our FDA 510(k)-cleared Waveband EEG headband and AI algorithms enable quantitative biomarker discovery and implementation. Beacon’s Clinico-EEG database contains EEG data from nearly 100,000 patients, and our cloud-native analytics platform powers large-scale RWD/RWE retrospective and predictive studies. Beacon Biosignals is changing the way that patients are treated for any disorder that affects brain physiology.

Beacon Biosignals is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to join our Datastore team. The Datastore sits at the heart of Beacon’s platform, defining our foundational data model and serving as the centralized repository and API for brain data collected from clinical studies and home sleep tests. As we expand our partnerships and real-world data integrations, we are looking for an engineer who thrives at the intersection of data platforms, customer needs, and applied problem solving.

In this role, you will work directly with Beacon’s external partners to understand their technical use cases, guide integrations with our APIs and datasets, and develop integrated solutions that enable them to unlock value from Beacon’s data platform. Internally, you will collaborate closely with Datastore engineers, product managers, and scientific teams to translate partner needs into robust data models, tools, and workflows, and to improve our ability to troubleshoot and resolve client issues at scale.

This role emphasizes deploying and extending Beacon’s data platform in real-world contexts, rather than building core infrastructure from scratch. You will develop PoCs and production-ready code, build analyses and dashboards, and create integration tooling that helps partners succeed with Beacon’s data.

Beacon’s robust asynchronous work practices ensure a first-class remote work experience, but we also have in-person office hubs in Boston, New York City and Paris.

What success looks like:

  • You work directly with external partners and customers to understand their data needs, analytical workflows, and technical constraints, and translate those into concrete solutions built on Beacon’s Datastore
  • You lead technical conversations with partner engineers and data teams, supporting API integrations, successful adoption of data access patterns and practices, and downstream analytics
  • You design and implement solutions for customers, sometimes on the Beacon platform and sometimes on the customer’s platform, to kickstart and expedite integration and provide examples that showcase and validate Beacon’s data
  • You collaborate with the rest of the Datastore team to develop internal tools, queries, and workflows that improve observability, troubleshooting, and resolution of client data issues
  • You leverage feedback from partners and internal stakeholders to improve documentation, APIs, data models, and operational processes
  • You are comfortable with ambiguity and balance pragmatism with rigor, delivering solutions quickly while maintaining high standards for data integrity, correctness, and maintainability

What you will bring:

  • 5+ years of experience developing and supporting data platform solutions (hands’ on coding is required for this position)
  • 3+ years in a customer-facing role, developing and managing customer relationships
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, with hands-on experience designing and maintaining analytical or operational data models
  • Experience working directly with customers or external stakeholders to solve data-related problems, including requirements gathering, solution design, and delivery
  • Comfort operating across the stack—from querying and modeling data to writing application or integration code as needed
  • Proficiency in a data-oriented programming language such as Python, Julia, or R
  • Familiarity with APIs and data integration patterns (GraphQL or REST, batch exports and ELT/ETL, event sourcing, and the like)
  • Experience with modern analytics and BI tools such as Snowflake, Superset, Looker, or similar platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

The salary range for this role is $150,000 - 170,000. Salary ranges are determined using current market compensation data for this role and adjusted based on experience, skills, and location. The base salary is one component of the total compensation package, which includes equity, PTO and other benefits.

At Beacon, we’ve found that cultural and scientific impact is driven most by those that lead by example. As such, we’re always seeking new contributors whose work demonstrates an avid curiosity, a bias towards simplicity, an eye for composability, a self-service mindset, and - most of all - a deep empathy towards colleagues, stakeholders, users, and patients. We believe a diverse team builds more robust systems and achieves higher impact.
