The Role

As Parsec Automation continues to expand its global presence, we are seeking a strategic and data-driven Growth Marketing Strategist to help accelerate brand awareness, customer acquisition, and pipeline growth. This is a fully remote U.S.- based position responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing programs that engage target audiences, generate demand, and support revenue objectives.

The ideal candidate combines creativity with analytical thinking and has experience building and optimizing multi-channel marketing campaigns. Working cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and other stakeholders, you will translate market insights into compelling messaging and measurable marketing initiatives that drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, demand generation, and customer acquisition.
  • Conduct market research to identify target audiences, customer needs, competitive positioning, and emerging market trends.
  • Analyze customer insights and market data to develop audience segmentation and targeted messaging.
  • Create and support marketing content, campaigns, promotional initiatives, and product marketing materials across digital, email, social media, and other channels.

🎯 What you will do

As CRM & Lifecycle Manager, your mission is to design and run lifecycle programs that turn new signups into engaged, loyal, high-LTV Joko users. About the Role

Hi, my name is Nick Guardino, Senior Director, Marketing at Customer.io, and I’m looking for a highly technical Marketing Operations Manager who’s excited by APIs, webhooks, data flows, automation logic, and the integration work that makes a modern GTM stack actually function. This role is at the heart of how we connect tools, automate processes, and make data accessible across the organization.

You’ll work closely with Growth, Marketing, RevOps, Sales, and Customer Success to operationalize campaigns, integrate tools, improve data quality, and automate repeatable processes. Whether you’re building in Customer.io, Salesforce, n8n, or Zapier, writing a lightweight script, or designing a better webhook-based workflow, your work will directly power how we acquire, engage, and retain customers.

To thrive in this role, you’ll need strong technical instincts, a builder’s mindset, and a bias toward systems that are reliable, documented, and scalable. You’ll be the go-to person who can look at a broken workflow, inspect the payload, find where the data is failing, and build a more reliable path forward. You do not need to be a full-time software engineer, but you should be comfortable working close to code, APIs, databases, and technical documentation. What You’ll Do

  • Build and own GTM integrations: Design, implement, and troubleshoot integrations across our marketing and revenue stack using APIs, webhooks, native integrations, automation platforms, and lightweight scripts.
  • Create reliable automation workflows: Build multi-step workflows in tools like Customer.io, Salesforce Flow, n8n, Zapier, and other GTM systems. Incorporate branching logic, payload transformations, retries, error handling, alerts, and documentation so automations can scale beyond one-off hacks.
  • Debug data and workflow failures: Investigate broken syncs, missing fields, malformed payloads, API errors, rate limits, attribution gaps, and automation edge cases. You should be comfortable reading logs, testing endpoints, and tracing data across systems.
  • Support GTM systems architecture: Help define how tools should connect, where data should live, how fields should map, and how teams should use systems consistently across marketing, sales, success, and RevOps.
  • Improve data quality and accessibility: Build processes that improve data hygiene, enrichment, segmentation, attribution, reporting, and operational visibility across the GTM organization.
  • Write lightweight operational scripts: Use Python, JavaScript, SQL, or similar tools to automate recurring tasks, process CSVs, call APIs, restructure data, and solve problems that are too custom for standard no-code tools.
  • Collaborate with GTM teams: Partner with Growth, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Product, and RevOps to understand business needs and translate them into reliable technical solutions.

What We’re Looking For

  • AI Proficiency: You’ll regularly use AI to support your own technical work, whether that’s debugging code, refining workflows, or surfacing relevant solutions through well-crafted prompts. Beyond individual use, you should have a solid understanding of where AI is the right solution to solve business needs versus when traditional, code-based approaches are more appropriate.
  • 2 to 5 years in Marketing Operations, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, CX Operations, Solutions Engineering, or a similarly technical GTM systems role, ideally at a B2B SaaS company.
  • Strong hands-on experience working with APIs, webhooks, automation platforms, CRMs, marketing automation tools, and data systems.
  • Comfort reading API documentation, testing requests, inspecting payloads, troubleshooting errors, and understanding how data moves between systems.
  • Experience building automations in tools like Customer.io, Salesforce Flow, n8n, Zapier, Make, Airtable, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to write or modify lightweight scripts for operational tasks, such as batch data updates, CSV transformations, API calls, enrichment jobs, or one-off workflow fixes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to independently diagnose ambiguous systems issues across multiple tools.

Compensation & Benefits

We believe in transparency. Starting salary for this role is $105,000-$125,000 USD (or equivalent in local currency) depending on experience and subject to market rate adjustment.

What will you bring?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience managing social media for B2B tech companies, with a proven track record of growing engagement and community.
  • A strong eye for visual storytelling, with experience briefing creative teams on social-first assets and producing select content independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for creating content that connects with global audiences.
  • Experience building or scaling employee advocacy programs that leverage internal experts to build brand authority and trust.
  • Proficiency with social media management/analytics tools (ex. Sprout Social) and the ability to translate metrics into actionable growth strategies.
  • Strong project management instincts, including comfort balancing competing priorities and multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, or similar platforms to enhance content creation and streamline workflows.
  • Proven success building relationships and influencing cross-functional stakeholders across marketing, product, sales, and other teams.

What will give you an edge?

  • Deep technical knowledge of the LinkedIn algorithm, YouTube SEO, and social media for AEO/SEO.
  • Experience with video editing tools (ex. Final Cut, Premiere, Descript, etc.) and/or a background in producing social-focused video content.
  • Experience developing executive thought leadership strategies and ghostwriting content for senior leaders.
  • Background working in highly regulated industries, such as financial services, cybersecurity, or compliance.

$100,000 - $120,000 a year

The above base salary range represents Smarsh’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible base compensation at the time of posting. Any applicable bonus programs will be discussed during the recruiting process.

The salary for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, location, specialty and training.

Local cost of living assessments are done for each new hire at the time of offer.

The Growth Automation Manager owns the systems and architectural layer of the revenue tech stack, designing, building, and maintaining the automation infrastructure that scales Sales, Customer Success (CS), and Marketing operations. The role bridges high-level process architecture and deep technical execution, translating complex cross-functional stakeholder requirements into scalable, silo-free workflows, and proactively engineering systemic solutions to operational challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Design & Optimisation: Map, analyse, and redesign operational processes across Sales, CS, and Marketing. Identify inefficiencies, eliminate silos, and replace manual effort with scalable automation - proactively, not just reactively.

  • Cross-functional initiative leadership: Drive and lead cross-functional automation and process improvement initiatives end-to-end - from scoping and stakeholder alignment through to implementation and handover. You are the person who connects the dots across teams and sees projects through.

  • Platform Administration: Own the configuration, architecture, and health of our core go-to-market automation platforms. Maintain a strong working knowledge of Salesforce and collaborate with the central Systems team where platform boundaries require it. This includes workflow management, data architecture, and proactive troubleshooting.

  • Integration Development: Design and maintain integrations across the revenue tech stack.

  • Data Health & Governance: Own data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across platforms. Maintain synchronisation logic, data mappings, and property frameworks. Solve upstream data problems before they create downstream failures.

  • Technical QA: Own end-to-end testing and validation of all automation workflows before they go live - logic-stressing, pre-launch checks, and post-launch monitoring.

  • Innovation: Continuously evaluate whether current processes and system architectures are the best approach. Bring forward improvements, new patterns, and smarter solutions without being asked.

Requirements

Required Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on, administrative-level experience managing enterprise CRM and marketing automation platforms, with deep functional expertise in HubSpot configuration (advanced workflows, segmentations, third-party integrations, and core data architecture).

  • Experience managing Salesforce environment dependencies, including standard/custom data objects, multi-platform data synchronization logic, and advanced native reporting capabilities.

  • Demonstrated track record of rapidly evaluating, auditing, and adopting emerging revenue technology and specialized automation platforms (e.g. Hook).

  • Prior experience utilizing data enrichment platforms (e.g. Clay) and the ability to read, write, or audit custom technical scripts (JavaScript, Python, or similar) is considered an advantage.

Required Skills

  • Advanced systems-thinking and process-mapping capabilities. Proven ability to design and optimize end-to-end macro-workflows rather than isolated steps, with an emphasis on systematically eliminating cross-functional silos and data redundancy.

  • Exceptional communication and collaborative skills, with a verified capability to bridge business needs and technical execution by translating complex, non-technical commercial requirements into precise system architecture specifications.

  • High level of autonomy, initiative, and structured execution. Proactive mindset to independently identify operational gaps, thoroughly document technical design decisions, and engineer sustainable, long-term infrastructure.

  • Professional verbal and written fluency in English is mandatory.
