Product Staff Product Manager, SEO and AI Visibility - CANADA (Remote) at Luxury Presence

Staff Product Manager sets product strategy and owns the roadmap for SEO and AI visibility solutions across a platform serving 20,000+ real estate websites.

Lead Remote Posted about 11 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Luxury Presence is building the AI growth platform for real estate. Backed by Bessemer Venture Partners and other top investors, we’re a Series C company that has hit $100M in annual recurring revenue. More than 90,000 real estate professionals, including over 30% of the WSJ Real Trends top 100 agents in the United States, use us to run and grow their business.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Staff Product Manager to own the SEO and AI visibility solutions we build for our clients: more than 20,000 real estate websites that rank independently, each in its own market, with its own authority, its own competitors, and a real business depending on the outcome. This is not the SEO of a single corporate domain or one large marketplace. It is a platform product, where one change to a template, a schema implementation, or the way we render content moves thousands of domains at once.

The mandate is an excellent organic discovery platform: technical foundations, page experience, conversion, content, measurement, migrations, and experimentation. AI search is a growing part of that. Our clients are evaluated by Google’s AI Overviews and AI Mode, by ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini, and by every prospective seller who asks an assistant which agent they should call. The best people in this job design for three constituencies at once: the people who visit these sites, the crawlers and AI agents that read them, and the real estate business whose revenue depends on both.

This is not a job for someone who runs audits and hands recommendations to other people. You will set the strategy, ship with your own engineering team, and build the defaults, standards, and safeguards that make quality hold across the entire fleet. Most real estate professionals will never hire a technical SEO of their own. Our platform is how they get one.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the product strategy and roadmap for organic discovery and AI visibility across every site on the platform, including what clients can see, control, and get credit for
  • Own the technical foundations across every page type we generate: crawlability, indexation, rendering, internal linking, structured data, and page performance
  • Productize what repeats. When the same issue or workflow shows up across the fleet, solve it once through better defaults, automation, shared capabilities, or safeguards
  • Make our clients’ brands, listings, and expertise legible to AI assistants, and define how we measure citations and visibility across answer engines
  • Run a real experimentation program: prove changes on representative cohorts of sites, establish incremental impact, then scale what works rather than shipping broadly and inferring impact afterward
  • Own migration quality and regression prevention, including the standards, acceptance criteria, and automated checks that hold search quality as the platform ships
  • Partner with the team building the next generation of our website platform so search is designed in from the start, and give every product team a low-friction path to the right implementation
  • Set platform-level goals for organic performance, AI visibility, and client outcomes, and report against them to leadership

Who You Are

  • 8+ years combined across SEO and product management, including 3+ years as a product manager shipping alongside engineering teams
  • You have owned search for a platform that hosts many independent customer domains, such as a website builder, a hosting or commerce platform, or a multi-location or franchise network. Running search for one large marketplace or corporate domain is valuable experience, but the fleet problem is a different job and it is the one we have
  • Deep technical foundation across rendering and JavaScript SEO, crawl and index management, information architecture, structured data, page performance, and migrations
  • You treat bots and AI agents as users of a website alongside people, and you design for both without trading one against the other
  • Obsessive about experimentation and measurement, including cohort testing, causal impact analysis, Search Console data at scale, log analysis, and the discipline to tell a result from a coincidence
  • A current point of view on AI search, including how models discover, interpret, and cite a brand, and the judgment to separate what genuinely moves visibility from what is repackaged advice
  • Fluent with AI as a working tool. You use it to investigate messy systems, establish ground truth quickly, prototype solutions, and unblock yourself rather than waiting on another team at every stage of discovery
  • You get requirements implemented by teams you do not own, and you are welcome back afterward. What you write is sharp enough that a team of engineers can move without waiting on you
  • Opinionated about prioritization. This space generates infinite work, and your judgment about what to ignore matters as much as what you ship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience at a website platform such as Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, WordPress, or Duda
  • Experience with programmatic or template-driven SEO across large page inventories
  • Local and entity-driven search experience, since our clients compete market by market
  • Conversion and page experience work alongside acquisition, since traffic that does not convert does not help a client
  • Background in PropTech, real estate, or another B2B2C category where the platform’s job is to make its customers win
  • Experience building client-facing reporting or diagnostic tools for a non-technical audience

$150,000 - $180,000 a year

This role owns how production companies pay their vendors — every payment method, the workflows around each payment, and the tracking and reporting that show customers exactly what’s been paid. Your mandate is to broaden and speed up how vendors get paid, push toward straight-through processing, and open up net-new ways for productions to spend — while keeping every dollar accurate, compliant, and fraud-resistant.

This is one of the higher-leverage roles in the product org. Vendor payments touch cash flow, fraud and AML exposure, tax reporting, and the general ledger, and they sit at the crossroads of banking, accounting, and go-to-market. You’ll own a domain with high technical complexity, a large cross-team surface area, and a direct line to customer and business outcomes.

You’ll partner with a tenured engineering team, an experienced designer, and be a key product voice across the AP & Payments group and the teams upstream and downstream of you.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own the roadmap and vision for Vendor Spend — aligning customer needs and business priorities into a clear, sequenced plan you can defend, and defining the success metrics that prove it’s working (adoption, cost and fraud reduction, revenue signals).

  • Expand and streamline how productions pay AP vendors — ACH (moving toward faster settlement), checks, direct-to-bank processing, card payments, and international — reducing time-to-payment and pushing toward true straight-through processing.

  • Lead the expense-management bet, a meaningful 0→1 opportunity: Wrapbook-issued spend/purchasing cards and virtual AP cards for invoice payments, including issuance, controls, and how card spend flows back into accounting.

  • Advocate for accuracy, compliance, and fraud protection. Positive pay and check-fraud prevention, ACH transaction screening and AML controls, and vendor tax reporting (1099) are core to the domain, not afterthoughts.

  • Partner with our banking infrastructure team on payment rails, defining clear service boundaries so vendor-payment workflows and the underlying bank transport evolve independently without surprises.

  • Keep vendor payments correct in the ledger, partnering with Accounting so payments and their reconciliation flow cleanly into production accounting.

  • Triage and prioritize competing demands from across the company — other product teams, Client Operations, Sales, Finance, Risk, Legal, and Support all touch this domain — managing them as part of your roadmap rather than as interruptions.

  • Use AI tools daily to accelerate your workflow — from discovery and analysis to writing, code comprehension, and prototyping. We expect our PMs to be builders, not just strategists.

What You’ll Have:

  • 5+ years of product management experience in a SaaS, fintech, or similarly complex technical environment.

  • A track record of measurable outcomes, not just shipped features. You can point to products you drove that moved a real number — adoption, new market or segment access, cost or fraud reduction, revenue — and explain your specific contribution.

  • Domain proximity to money movement. Background in accounts payable, vendor/B2B payments, card issuance, or accounting is strongly preferred, so you can go deep quickly rather than ramping from zero on how funds and ledgers actually work.

  • A technical orientation. You reason with engineering about systems, data models, integrations, fund flows, and failure modes without heavy hand-holding.

  • Active, daily AI usage in your PM workflow — not experimental and not just ChatGPT. You use LLMs, AI-assisted coding tools, and AI workflows as core parts of how you ship, and can articulate specifically how AI has changed your PM work and where it’s headed.

  • Experience owning products with high cross-functional surface area, where other teams and stakeholders depend on the systems and workflows you own.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a bias toward action, balanced against the compliance and quality bar a payments product demands.

  • Comfort with ambiguity — able to dive deep and become a subject-matter expert in an unfamiliar, technically complex domain.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication. Clear, structured, decision-oriented writing that keeps engineering and cross-functional partners aligned.

  • Data self-sufficiency. You independently pull and interpret data using tools like SQL, Pendo, Omni, or Snowflake to define, track, and measure product success.

  • A growth mindset, and deep empathy for the customers and operators who live in these workflows every day.

Extra Points If You Have:

  • Payments & domain depth: hands-on experience with AP / vendor payments, B2B money movement, or card issuance — including payment rails (ACH/NACHA, checks, positive pay, direct-to-bank, processor integrations like Stripe) and the tradeoffs in fund flows, settlement timing, and reconciliation. Ideally in fintech, payroll, accounting/ERP, or entertainment/production.

  • 0→1 experience standing up a new payments or card capability under real ambiguity.

  • Risk & compliance: fraud/AML controls, transaction screening, or tax reporting (1099) in a financial product.

  • Scale-up experience at a high-growth SaaS company, maturing product process while keeping speed.

What this role involves

Help Us Build The Future of Travel

At Airalo, we’re making it easier for people to stay connected wherever they travel. As the world’s first eSIM store, we help millions of travelers access affordable mobile data in 200+ countries and regions around the world.

Today, we’re a team of 400+ people across 60+ countries, building a product used by travelers every day. We’ve grown quickly, but we’ve worked hard to keep what matters: trust, ownership, and the freedom for people to do great work without unnecessary layers or bureaucracy.

We’re fully remote by design, genuinely global, and united by a shared mission to make travel simpler for everyone.

Your Next Destination

  • Location: Remote, anywhere in Spain, the UK, or the UAE.
  • Contract:
    • Spain: Full-time, permanent contrato indefinido via Deel (our employer of record in Spain)
    • UK: Full-time, permanent (local contract)
    • UAE: Full-time, permanent via Deel (our employer of record in the UAE)
  • Benefits: Learn more about our benefits here in this link - https://airalo-public.notion.site/Benefits-25396a97ffca81fb9bc1f0be479f1be3?pvs=74
  • Languages: English is our main working language day to day, so you’ll need to be comfortable communicating in it both in meetings and async.

Curious what it’s actually like to work at Airalo? We’ve put together a guide for each of the hubs we hire from most, covering our benefits, remote culture, employment setup, and what our team values most:

  • Life at Airalo ¡ EspaĂąa: https://airalo-public.notion.site/life-at-airalo-espana
  • Life at Airalo ¡ United Kingdom: https://airalo-public.notion.site/life-at-airalo-united-kingdom
  • Life at Airalo ¡ United Arab Emirates: https://airalo-public.notion.site/life-at-airalo-united-arab-emirates

Airalo built the world’s first eSIM marketplace. Today most of our customers buy a data plan for a trip, use it, and come back the next time they fly. We are building something people install once and keep, that works at home as well as abroad.

The industry we came out of spent decades building walls to protect itself from its own customers: fine print, fair-use policies, roaming charges that arrive after the holiday is over, contracts written to be hard to leave. We are taking those down, and we are doing it with clarity and care rather than noise.

Most of that is design work. The machinery under connectivity is genuinely complicated, and none of it is the customer’s problem, making it disappear is the job.

Designing something people live with is a different job from designing a good purchase. A trip purchase is won at checkout, in a few minutes, often in an airport. A product that stays on someone’s phone for years has to be worth opening when nothing is wrong.

We are looking for the design leader who can take us there. You’ll report to the Chief Product Officer, as a peer to the leaders of Consumer Product and B2B Product.

What you own:

  • Own every surface, consumer and business. On consumer, that’s acquisition, conversion, customer experience, retention, core systems, Airalo One, and our new bets, each with its own product manager and engineering team. On B2B, it’s reseller experience, corporate experience, and partner onboarding. Make all of it feel like one relationship rather than a series of separate transactions.

  • Set design strategy. Define what the product should feel like in two years, which bets get us there, and what we are deliberately not doing.

  • Lead research and design as one function. Run the product design guild and the research team, with research shaping strategy rather than answering requests for it.

  • Own brand in the product, co-authored with Marketing. Marketing leads the campaign and positioning; you own how the brand is felt, the design system, typography and colour, motion and haptics, in-app photography, and the tone of everything from a paywall to an error message.

  • Build quality as a system. Define what finished means and hold the authority to enforce it: one design system the B2B platform inherits from rather than forks, accessibility designed in rather than retrofitted, and words treated as design rather than copy added at the end.

Your First Year:

  • Land the brand evolution in the product, with our flagship connectivity launch as the vehicle.

  • Take the app from viable to lovable: micro-animations, haptics, and patterns that feel native on iOS and Android rather than one layout that satisfies neither.

  • Decide what the design system needs — it has a real accessibility standard and no dedicated engineers, running on champions per platform.

  • Draw the working boundary between design and product management so designers are neither order-takers nor deciding alone.

  • Move research from answering questions to setting them, and make its output something the roadmap actually turns on.

  • Build the career framework for design and research, with a bar you can defend at each level.

  • Hire, tell us what shape the team should be, not only how big.

Must-haves:

  • Have led design for a business at real scale, responsible for a whole product rather than a slice of one, consumer depth matters most, and experience also running a business or professional product is a strong advantage, since running both from one team is the specific problem here.

  • Have led or worked closely with research, and know what it’s for beyond validation.

  • Have written a design strategy, won the argument to get it adopted, and lived with the result.

  • Are still close to the work, not the main designer, but someone whose judgement on a screen is worth deferring to.

  • Have grown designers into leads and leads into managers.

  • Can make the case for design in commercial terms as fluently as in design terms.

  • Reach for one system that scales rather than bespoke solutions that multiply, and know what a design system costs to maintain, not only to launch.

You should apply if…

  • You think in systems, not screens. You can hold a whole product, consumer and B2B, as one relationship, and you build the design system, career framework, and quality bar that make good work repeatable rather than heroic.

  • You treat research as a strategic input, not a rubber stamp. You want research setting the questions the roadmap turns on, not just validating decisions already made.

  • You can own brand inside the product. You’re comfortable co-authoring brand strategy with Marketing while owning how it actually shows up, motion, tone, typography, the moment a customer touches the product.

  • You’ve done this at scale and stayed close to the work. You’ve led design organizations, but your eye for a screen is still one people defer to.

  • You can argue design in the language of the business. You’ve written and sold a design strategy, and you can make its commercial case as fluently as its craft case.

Product Senior Product Manager - Life Sciences Meetings Management (Europe/US - Remote) at SpotMe

Senior Product Manager owns the strategic meetings management product for life sciences, defining specifications, shipping features with design/engineering, and validating with enterprise customers.

Senior Remote Posted 1 day ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Mission - Why we exist, what we do, and why we need you

SpotMe is a leading B2B event platform that helps enterprises increase the impact of their events by delivering CRM-connected, high-quality experiences across in-person, virtual, hybrid events, and webinars. With a strong focus on life sciences, SpotMe powers Onomi: the Live HCP Engagement Platform that enables medical and commercial teams to run impactful congresses, symposia, advisory boards, and webinars. Together, SpotMe and Onomi turn live events into a company’s most effective engagement channel.

Pharma companies use event platforms as registration forms while request, approval, budget, HCP registration, transfer of value (ToV), and reporting run in Excel and at agencies. We are building Onomi 360, the life-sciences strategic meetings management (SMM) product, to replace the incumbent event platform in that space. First accounts already run their meeting requests and approvals in Onomi 360; the demand is validated and the trajectory is exciting.

Your focus will be MeetingsEQ, the SMM layer of Onomi 360: one front door for every request, approval and budget as configuration, unified HCP identity, per-attendee ToV allocation, and engagement and spend flowing back into the CRM without re-keying. The customer’s CRM and master data stay where they are; the event platform behind the meetings program is where we play. AI-assisted development is how we work, and you will have real freedom to use it.

This position is the ideal role for a hands-on product leader from the life-sciences meetings, compliance, or HCP-data world who would rather ship and test than talk about the problem, and who wants to own one product end to end and see the process they once operated replaced with a modern, AI-first workflow.

As a Senior Product Manager, Onomi 360, you will be reporting to the VP Product. Your time will be spent on:

  • [35%] Defining the detailed product. Turn customer workbooks, operating procedures, RFP requirements, and our capability map into roadmap priorities and build-ready specifications.
  • [30%] Shipping. Work daily with design and engineering in the Onomi 360 codebase: thin production slices, prototypes, scope calls, validation in the running product. Daily AI-based prototyping and customer validation.
  • [25%] Customers and partners. Work with meetings operations, compliance, medical affairs, finance, agencies, and the customer’s data team. Define how Onomi 360 works with Veeva, Salesforce, Snowflake, and consent, and own the venue-sourcing and fair-market-value partner integrations.
  • [10%] Product truth. Keep what we claim, what we demo, and what we ship documented, clear and moving in the right direction.

Objectives - The problems you will solve

In your first month, you will:

  • Take over the first customer’s move from their meeting request form to Onomi 360: spec, build, history migration, customer session.
  • Get set up with AI-based toolkit and the Onomi 360 codebase, and use both in your daily work.
  • Meet the early access customers (design partners) for Onomi 360.

After 3 months, you will have:

  • The first customer live on meeting request and approvals in Onomi 360, measured against their baseline.
  • The roadmap priorities for the next two quarters defined, and the first priorities specified to build depth with engineering.
  • A clean separation everyone uses: aspirational (slides), forward-looking (prototype-based demo), and committed (roadmap and backlog).

After 6 months, you will have:

  • The full end-to-end MeetingsEQ product specified and engineering-reviewed, request through approval, budget, HCP registration, ToV, and reporting.
  • One customer replacing Excel with the Onomi 360 ToV module, and the first live account expanded from request and approval into budget, ToV, or venue sourcing.

After 12 months, you will have:

  • One customer closing a full ToV reporting cycle in Onomi 360 instead of Excel.
  • Three accounts running request to closure in production, and the org-wide calendar or HCP engagement view used outside compliance.
  • Onomi 360 winning the meetings-management scope in RFPs.

What you need to be great at

  • Life-sciences meetings, compliance, or transparency operations. You have built or operated workflows spanning approval, budgeting, ToV, and closure, and you know what EFPIA and Sunshine disclosure mean in practice.
  • HCP data and integration fluency. Identity across Veeva, Salesforce, OneKey, and NPI; match rates; what a data team expects from a write-back.
  • Domain-to-product translation. A messy operating process becomes states, rules, configuration, permissions, and audit events, with regulation separated from customer policy.
  • Sequencing. The smallest production slice that proves the model without hiding the hard architectural or compliance question.
  • Bias to execute. You ship, prototype, and put things in front of users in days, not spend weeks describing the problem. You drive decisions to a close and pull others along.
  • Precise writing and direct communication. Specs detailed enough to build and review, plain words, disagreement in the open.
  • Technical and AI fluency. You work in Claude Code or OpenAI Codex, you understand code, data flows, and architecture well enough to challenge an engineering design. You know the software development lifecycle deeply, from RFC and specification through review, release, and support. AI takes you from evidence to a testable artifact in hours.

What we want to hear about

  1. Life-sciences meetings and transfer of value. Tell us about a meetings or transfer-of-value process you built or ran end to end, from request through approval, budget, HCP registration, and disclosure. Where did it break, and what did you change? This is the process Onomi 360 replaces, and we want someone who has lived it.
  2. From operating process to product. Tell us about a messy process you turned into a product: which rules you made fixed, which you made configurable, what you integrated, and what you left manual. That translation is the heart of this role.
  3. Shipping fast. Tell us about the last thing you shipped or prototyped within two weeks of first hearing the problem. What did you skip, and what did users do with it? Here you put working software in front of pharma design partners every few weeks, not slides.
  4. Building with AI. Tell us about something you built yourself with Claude Code or another AI tool that changed a product decision, and what it taught you about the code or the architecture underneath. AI-assisted development is how we build, and you will have real freedom to use it.

Fluent English (written and spoken). Remote, based in Europe or in the US Eastern or Central time zones, with about 10-20 % travel to design partners and industry events.

SpotMe recruits, compensates, and promotes regardless of race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, parental status, or veteran status.

Product Senior Technical Product Manager: Infrastructure and Platforms at Alpaca

Owns product definition and roadmap for internal infrastructure and platform, prioritizing DevOps and engineering team needs at scale.

Senior Remote Posted 2 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Who We Are:

Alpaca is a US-headquartered, global leader in agent-first brokerage infrastructure for stocks, ETFs, options, crypto, fixed income, 24⁄5 trading, and more.

Amongst our subsidiaries, Alpaca is a licensed financial services company, serving hundreds of financial institutions across 40 countries with our institutional-grade APIs. This includes broker-dealers, investment advisors, wealth managers, hedge funds, and crypto exchanges, totalling over 10 million brokerage accounts.

Our global team is a diverse group of experienced engineers, traders, and brokerage professionals who are working to achieve our mission of opening financial services to everyone on the planet. We’re deeply committed to open-source contributions and fostering a vibrant community, continuously enhancing our award-winning, developer-friendly API and the robust infrastructure behind it.

Alpaca is proudly backed by $400 million in funding from top-tier global investors including Portage Ventures, Spark Capital, Tribe Capital, Social Leverage, Horizons Ventures, Opera Tech Ventures, SBI Group, Derayah Financial, Unbound, Peak XV, Elefund, and Y Combinator.

Our Team Members:

We’re a dynamic team of 400+ globally distributed members who thrive working from our favorite places around the world, with teammates spanning the USA, Canada, Japan, Hungary, Nigeria, Brazil, the UK, and beyond!

We’re searching for passionate individuals eager to contribute to Alpaca’s rapid growth. If you align with our core values—Stay Curious, Have Empathy, and Be Accountable—and are ready to make a significant impact, we encourage you to apply.

Your Role

Build Alpaca’s internal infrastructure and developer platform as a product. You own the product definition and platform maturity strategy, the intake, the backlog, and the multi-quarter roadmap for Platform & Infrastructure, and you put the rails in place so DevOps, Platform, and Infrastructure teams, and the customers know what to prioritize next. Partnering directly with the VP of Engineering.

Alpaca is building infrastructure for programmable finance at global scale: new countries, global markets, products that must stay centralized, and products that must be deployable in any region. This seat exists so that work has a product owner — platform maturity, CI/CD, cost efficiency and attribution, and the infrastructure dependencies that product engineering keeps discovering too late.

Things You Get To Do

Own infrastructure as a product. Define and evolve a platform maturity model in the open. Internal customers are Alpaca engineers. The north star matches the Platform & Infrastructure charter: self-serve infrastructure on paved golden paths – any engineer can build, ship, authenticate, observe, and scale a service without filing a ticket. You are the product owner for Foundational Infrastructure inside the TPM team: efficiency ( cost attribution / chargeback) and the KPIs that prove the platform is getting easier to consume ( full CI/CD delivery and adoption).

Build the rails for monthly delivery. Teams already carve capacity for on-call, support, and upgrades. What remains is discovery and delivery. You make the next pull from a living roadmap obvious. You keep the central backlog and intake sane. You surface platform and infrastructure dependencies before they become surprises on someone else’s roadmap.

Drive platform maturity until maintenance windows disappear. Short term you will feel the pain of coordinating maintenance windows, runbooks, and market-hours constraints — because you cannot eliminate what you have not operated. The goal is 24⁄7 deployability across open and closed markets, globally.

Make the cost a first-class product surface. Work with infrastructure engineering and Finance on attribution, chargeback, and efficiency. This requires technical judgment: you have to understand why a node, a database, or a pipeline costs what it costs. Cost is one program, not the whole job.

Raise CI/CD and developer-platform adoption. Full CI/CD delivery and adoption is a stated KPI for this seat. Partner with DevOps App (ArgoCD, service mesh, API gateway) and Platform (AuthX, event streaming, DevEx) so golden paths get used, not documented and ignored.

Make infrastructure portable for global scale. Distinguish what must stay centralized to serve all of Alpaca from what must be packaged and deployable in new markets Alpaca will expand to.

Who You Are (Must-Haves)

  • 7+ years as a TPM, product manager technical, or equivalent, with a substantial portion of that time owning infrastructure, platform or developer experience.
  • You have owned a multi-team backlog, intake, and roadmap, and you have run a planning cadence that teams actually use.
  • You are technically fluent to be an equal partner to senior/staff engineers on compute infra, deployment pipelines (CI/CD), data stores, networking, and cost drivers. While you do not need to write production Terraform; you do need to know when a proposal is hand-wavy.
  • You get things done without a reporting line. You have influenced platform adoption across many teams.
  • You write and operate with crisp scope. You can say what this role does not own and still leave no gap.
  • You have worked in a market-hours-sensitive or regulated production environment, or another domain where deploy windows, change risk, and customer trust are real constraints.
  • You use AI and automation to remove program toil rather than add tooling.

Who You Might Be (Nice-to-Haves)

  • You have stood up a platform-maturity model, paved-path program, or internal developer platform.
  • You have eliminated or dramatically reduced maintenance windows or change-freeze culture in a production org.
  • Multi-region or multi-entity infrastructure: packaging a platform so a new region or booking center can be stood up without a hero project.
  • Capital markets, brokerage, or other FinTech infrastructure.

How We Take Care of You:

  • Competitive Salary & Stock Options
  • Health Benefits
  • New Hire Home-Office Setup: One-time USD $500
  • Monthly Stipend: USD $150 per month via a Brex Card

Alpaca is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace dedicated to pursuing and hiring a diverse workforce.

Principal Product Manager, Couchbase Mobile

Location: Remote — US-based

About the Role

Couchbase is hiring a Principal Product Manager to own execution for the Couchbase Mobile portfolio — Couchbase Lite, Sync Gateway / Capella App Services, and Edge Server. This is a mature, widely-adopted portfolio, and this Principal-level role owns the execution rigor — release quality, developer experience, and technical depth of requirements — that keeps it excellent as it grows to support edge and on-device AI use cases.

The portfolio spans a full cloud-to-edge-to-device data layer: Couchbase Lite is the embedded database inside mobile, desktop, and web apps; Sync Gateway and Capella App Services provide self-managed and fully managed sync backends; and Edge Server is our lightweight, resource-constrained edge database for environments. Increasingly, these products also need to support AI-powered applications running at the edge, where data has to stay local, fast, and always available. You’ll need a real point of view on how to extend the portfolio, grounded in hands-on technical judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Turn product strategy for the Couchbase Mobile portfolio (Couchbase Lite, Sync Gateway, Capella App Services, Edge Server) into a detailed, well-sequenced roadmap, and drive it through to shipped, adopted product with rigor.
  • Own end-to-end execution day-to-day: write detailed technical product requirements, partner closely with engineering and design, validate pre-release features hands-on, and contribute to the operational cadence (JIRA, sprint/roadmap reviews, agile ceremonies).
  • Bring operational excellence to a mature, multi-product portfolio — tighten release quality, close gaps in documentation and developer experience, and systematically remove friction that’s built up across established products.
  • Shape how the portfolio supports on-device and edge AI use cases, and turn that into concrete, engineering-ready requirements that keep the mobile/edge products relevant as AI moves to the edge.
  • Work directly with customers and prospects to pressure-test use cases and turn them into functional requirements and clear build/don’t-build calls.
  • Be the first line of product ownership on live customer escalations — working directly with field, sales, and support leadership to unblock accounts, and driving fixes through engineering.
  • Act as the portfolio’s lead technical evangelist: represent Couchbase Mobile in talks, webinars, technical content, and arm sales, solutions engineering, and marketing with the training and positioning they need.
  • Represent the portfolio in cross-org planning with senior leadership — this is leadership through execution excellence and technical depth, not people management.

What You Need

  • 8+ years of product management experience, with a track record of driving flawless execution for a mature product or portfolio at scale — distributed systems, databases, or developer platforms strongly preferred.
  • In addition to the PM experience above, 3+ years of hands-on software development experience — writing or architecting production applications yourself, not just working alongside engineers who do.
  • Demonstrated ability to take an already-successful, mature product and materially improve how well it’s executed — release quality, operational rigor, developer experience — not just an ability to conceive new products from scratch.
  • A genuine technical/developer background: you’ve built or architected client-side applications (mobile, desktop, or web) yourself, and you’re comfortable prototyping. Fluency in client mobile app technologies (Flutter, KMM etc) is a plus.
  • Practical understanding of the concepts behind complex distributed systems — high availability, disaster recovery, security and access control — and how they apply not just to mobile/embedded apps but to server-side sync infrastructure (Sync Gateway, Capella App Services). Familiarity with a public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • A working, opinionated understanding of edge computing and AI concepts relevant to on-device and edge inference — and the judgment to turn that into product strategy rather than buzzwords.
  • AI-forward in how you work, not just what you ship: you already use AI tools in your own day-to-day PM process (requirements, research, analysis) and push that adoption across the team.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills is a must: equally comfortable in a deep technical design review with engineers and in front of customers, press, or executive leadership.
  • Fluency with agile development process and tooling (JIRA or equivalent), and experience operating in a fast-moving, cross-functional org without waiting to be told what to do.
  • A high bar for ownership — hard-working, self-directed, and comfortable setting direction under ambiguity and driving alignment across engineering, marketing, and sales without formal authority.
  • A strong team player — curious and collaborative, with plenty of good ideas to contribute, and happy to take the time to learn the product and the team.

The anticipated starting base pay range for this role is listed below. Base salary is not the only component of our competitive total rewards package - you may also be eligible for bonus, commissions, and other benefits as described below. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications, and specific work location.

Base salary is not the only component of our competitive total rewards package - you may also be eligible for bonus, commissions, and other benefits as described below. What this role involves

Description

About ShortPoint

ShortPoint is a design software company that helps teams build beautiful intranet sites inside Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams. We are a remote-first, globally distributed team certified as a Great Place to Work and ranked #4 out of 15 Best Workplaces in Technology in the GCC, with regional offices in Dubai, Lviv, Ann Arbor, and London. We believe teamwork makes the dream work, and we keep our teams in sync and winning at scale. We are looking for a meticulous, proactive, and technically grounded Technical Product Manager to join our product team and work directly with our Product Director to keep our product engine running with precision and a great eye for design.

Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Technical Product Manager to support the Product Director across the full product lifecycle. You will run and manage product meetings, turn ideas and discussions into clear, well-written user stories, create mockups with the help of modern AI tools, and keep everyone informed on the status of upcoming releases.

The ideal candidate combines strong product craft with genuine design sensibility and a solid technical foundation: you can follow engineering discussions with ease, reason about APIs and architecture, and dig into technical details when the situation calls for it. The stronger your technical depth, the better. You will bridge the gap between engineering, UI/UX design, and business priorities, and you should be comfortable working AI-first across your daily workflow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Execution: Assist with the day-to-day product cadence alongside the Product Director, from meeting management and follow-ups through backlog grooming, story writing, and release tracking

  • Story Writing: Write detailed, unambiguous user stories and acceptance criteria in Linear, and keep the backlog organized and sprint-ready

  • Release Communication: Track release progress across engineering and QA, and proactively inform stakeholders of status, risks, and timelines

  • AI-Assisted Design: Create wireframes and mockups using AI design and prototyping tools, and apply a strong eye for UI/UX to keep the product intuitive and polished (you will be asked to demonstrate this in the interview)

  • AI Process Improvement: Being able to contribute to our processes by utilizing AI (Claude/ChatGPT work) to analyze data, close gaps, and resolve bottlenecks.

Requirements

Required Qualifications & Experience

⚠️ Mandatory Screening Criteria: Candidates who do not meet the experience and background requirements below will not be considered.

  • Total Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on product management experience specifically within software/SaaS environments

  • Industry Background: Must have direct experience working on B2B SaaS products; familiarity with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, or intranet products is a strong plus

  • Tools & Ecosystems: Advanced, hands-on proficiency with Linear (or a similar agile tracking tool), GitHub, and Claude (CLI and app) or comparable AI tooling

  • Design Literacy: Strong eye for design, foundational knowledge of UI/UX workflows, and proven ability to produce mockups with AI-assisted tools

  • Technical Foundation: A solid technical background with strong software development familiarity; able to hold your own in discussions about APIs, web technologies, and architecture with engineers. Deeper hands-on experience, such as with JavaScript/React or the Microsoft 365/SharePoint ecosystem, is a significant advantage

  • Include the word ‘compass’ in your application response to confirm you have read this posting carefully.

  • Big Plus: A Claude Code or Codex project of your own that you can showcase and explain in the interview

  • Location: Fully remote role; work from anywhere with reasonable overlap with the team

  • Leading the definition of acceptance criteria, test scenarios, and sign-off requirements to ensure that technical delivery successfully satisfies the specific regulatory hurdles of each country.
  • Managing the technical-regulatory checklist for various countries simultaneously, ensuring all dependencies are captured for the development sprint and risks are proactively escalated.
  • Coordinating with local central databases and external partners to ensure interworking specifications meet local quality-of-service mandates and integration readiness milestones.
  • Mentoring and upskilling Solution Analysts and cross-functional delivery teams on best practices for writing user stories, functional specifications, and traceability from regulation to implementation.
  • Providing functional leadership to development teams by clarifying intent, reviewing stories/acceptance criteria, and supporting solution design decisions that balance compliance, scalability, and maintainability.

Must haves:

  • 7+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or Solution Architect, preferably within the Telecom or Tech industry.
  • Proven ability to synthesize complex regulatory documents into actionable engineering tasks.
  • Comfortable discussing technical concepts such as SIP, SMS routing, and MNP databases with engineers.
  • Highly skilled in writing clear User Stories, Functional Specs, and managing Jira tickets that an engineering team can execute against.
  • Experience or deep interest in international roaming, interconnectivity, and the nuances of varying global telecom markets.
  • Ability to create clear, structured technical documentation and process flowcharts.
  • Experience coaching and mentoring members of the team
  • Ability to act as a liaison between legal, product, and engineering teams.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.

Nice to have:

  • Prior work experience in MVNO or Mobile Core environments.
  • Experience with GSMA standards and eSIM technology.
  • Familiarity with Lawful Interception (LI) and regional compliance reporting.
